Water Tower

An easily built and maintained structure for collecting water.
The project is based on the actual situations in Etheopia: water shortage, lousy accessibility, climate and local lifestyle. The structure is inspired by local basket weaving techniques and the water cycle theory. 13m tower is made up of 3 modular sections. Constructed via bamboo and local construction techniques. An elliptical base was chosen, since it is more circular and thus more stable than a rectangular base.
